Customer Reviews

"We will definitely go back. The food was really good. We tried 2 combination plates to try different things. One was pork fried rice with chicken chow main and sweet and sour pork. The other was spicy beef with pork fried rice and spring roll. Nice size portions for the price. Outside of the building definitely fits, " Don't judge a book by it cover." The lady working front of house was very friendly and attentive."

"What I would call a 'Chinese diner,' but it was exactly what my Wifey was looking for, for a comfort food meal on an RV trip. We did their family style meal, and those include your basics, and nothing off a secret menu. Fine with me, because I knew we'd be able to take leftovers home for other folks. Our hostess was a sweetie, and treated us like I'm sure she treats all the nice folks who come here. It seems to be just her out front, and probably her husband in the back cooking the great food. It's not a big place, with maybe about eight small tables, so a big group may want to look for a different venue. Such great flavors with everything, though. Cash or check only, so be prepared for that..."

"The waitress was rude and did not communicate very well with us while we were ordering. She left us for awhile and didn't come back to see if we needed anything else. Yes, it was busy. I feel like she was waiting on the people that came in that she knew first before coming back to us. She finally came over when I got her attention. It's uncomfortably quiet and cold. The food was good for the price. You get quite a lot. We will not be going back due to the service."

"We have been coming here since 1996. Still the best in the area. Hot, fresh, and delicious. Old school combinations and delicious entrees. Love the mandarin chicken and celery chicken. Good fried rice. Egg foo young is some of the best you've ever had!"

"Well it's pretty decent, if you are in Hayden and want Chinese, it's worth a go. All in all pretty tasty, but not the best. No real atmosphere inside, but it looks like most folks get the food to go. Really liked the soup, and the egg rolls."

"We have been here multiple times probably, six times at least. Sometimes the food is really good, sometimes it is mediocre at best. The service is the same. We have had really good service before and really horrible service before. The lady who runs it barely speaks any English and I do give her a lot of credit for how much she tries. I just wish the food and quality was more consistent. Today I am a little disappointed with our food. I had cashew chicken and over half of my portion was celery. I had a pile of celery sitting left on my plate after I ate the chicken out of it. Seems like they're just trying to use it as a filler. My daughter's beef had no flavor. I just don't know if I will be back for a long time because of the quality of today."

"Great restaurant that is family owned. Food is decent and definitely made to order fresh. The Mongolian beef was tasty and didn't disappoint! Check it out!"
